Students corrected their Final Review. Those writing the exam will write on Thursday, January 25 at 9:00am in my classroom. Thank-you for a wonderful semester and good luck in math 20.

Today we wrote a practice exam for our real exam tomorrow. We corrected it together and then started a review for the final. Yes EVERYONE is writing the review. If you get a recommend excellent, but this is a good opportunity to get yourself prepared for Math 20 next semester.

Study for tomorrow’s quiz…..know the formulas.

Today we corrected homework from section 6.13 and worked through several more problems together. There will be a final unit test on Wednesday.

Today we corrected yesterday’s work. We started the Trionometry section today and everyone should be walking around chanting SOH CAH TOA because that is SO COOL.

Homework: Sections C and D on page 94 of the worksheets I handed out today.

Corrected worksheet package on 6.9 and started 6.10 The Theorem of Pythagorus. Homework for tomorrow is question 7 a-o.

Today we finished up section 6.8 quadrilaterals and started section 6.9 polygons. We reviewed the diagonal formula and the interior angle sum formula. the students have a package to work on this evening that we will correct tomorrow.

Rumour has it that there may be a pop quiz on these two formulas.

Welcome back. Today we worked on section 6.8 as a group. We are looking at quadrilaterals (which should be review but seems not to be the case!). We will finish up together tomorrow and move on to section 6.9. Feel free to read ahead.

Today we wrote our Unit 6 exam. They will be returned tomorrow. One more day of classes as Christmas Lit is Friday afternoon.

Today we corrected our practice exam and started 6.7 Constructions. Students seemed frustrated with this unit and we will tackle it again on Thursday after our exam tomorrow. Study my little ones!

Today we corrected section 6.6 and wrote a practice exam for section 6.1-6.6. The students will write their real exam on Wednesday December 20.
